Are you wondering where you should get married? There are many things to consider when you choose a place to get married. Do you already have a place in mind that you have always dreamt of? Do you want a more traditional religious wedding, or would prefer a very unconventional wedding? Is having a venue that would host both your ceremony and your wedding reception on the top of your list? Other things you may consider when choosing your wedding venue is how many people you want to invite, your budget and weather you want the ceremony abroad or at home. 1. THE TOWN HALL
The wedding in the above photographs took place at Chester Town Hall. This wedding venue can also cater for your reception. The building is stunning and is bound to impress your guests. When the Bride and Groom have their photographs taken, wedding guests could either have a drink at the bar and mingle or if time permits they could visit some tourist attractions. The Town Hall is based right in the centre of Chester.
2. A HOUSE OF WORSHIP
If a couple are planning a more traditional or religious wedding, then a place of worship would be where the ceremony takes place. Some places of worship do offer another room for the wedding reception if required.
3. A REGISTRY OFFICE
A registry office is ideal if you want a small wedding ceremony and then to have a meal at a restaurant or book a hall for the wedding reception. Couples often get married in a registration office if they are having a destination wedding and want to cover the legalities before they leave. 4. A HOTEL
Most Hotels do wedding ceremony’s and receptions. They are a perfect place to get married if you want everything in the same place. You can stay the night before, get ready at the hotel, have your wedding ceremony and reception all in the same place. This is easier than having to transport your guests from one place to another. At some hotels you can have your ceremony outside if weather is permitting. There are plenty of amazing hotels. 5. THE ZOO
The photographs above are from various weddings at Chester Zoo. The Oakfield is where the ceremony takes place. The Bride and Groom can wander around the zoo with their guests and have their photographs taken. The wedding breakfast and evening reception also takes place in Oakfield Manor, which is situated in the middle of Chester Zoo.
6. A BARN CONVERSION
If you fancy more of a rustic and rural wedding then a barn wedding may suit your style. At some Barn wedding venues you can also hire marquees or Teepee’s, for a more festival styled wedding, which are becoming very trendy. 7. A GOLF CLUB
With masses of land, water features and backdrops. Golf Clubs are becoming a more popular wedding venue. The golf Clubs featured here are Carden Park Golf Resort, The Mere Golf Resort & Spa and The Oak Tree of Peover .
8. A CONVERTED WAREHOUSE
A Converted Warehouse could be the ideal place for you. The converted warehouse featured in the images above is Constellations & The Observatory in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle. This is a trendy, urban events space. There is huge amounts of indoor and out door space, so great for large wedding party’s.
9. A MUSIC HALL OR THEATRE
This particular music hall is Hoxton Hall. This is a Grade II listed Victorian Music Hall situated in the heart of East London .
10. THE RACECOURSE
This wedding took place at Chester Racecourse in Chester. The Racecourse caters for smaller or larger weddings. This is ideal if your a horse lover, keen on horse racing or just want a venue with a bit of a difference.
