Birkenhead Wedding

This was a Birkenhead Wedding. Birkenhead Town Hall is a Grade ll listed building situated in Hamilton Square, the Wirral. I was very much looking forward to photographing this wedding as it was my first wedding back after the lock down. My adrenalin was pumping and I was ready to go. Although lock down was lifted, restrictions were still in place. This meant guests were limited, which made this a small intimate wedding. This was the wedding of Vikki & Edward, a really lovely couple who seamed very relaxed and excited for the day ahead. They were blessed with a beautiful spring day, with blue sky’s and sunshine.

Relaxed Wedding, lots of emotion and laughter

Super relaxed, full of emotion and lot’s of laughter. What more can a photographer ask for. I really enjoyed the morning during the bridal preparations. It was nice getting to know a little about the bride Vikki and her family. The make-up artist Emma and Jen the hair dresser were really nice and full of good Make Up tips. The morning was very mellow and chilled. I started by photographing the dress, shoes and flowers. Most brides ask for photographs of their accessories and keep sakes. Vikki’s dress was amazing. A Maggie Sottero wedding dress. One of the best wedding dresses I have seen. The neckline and detail were just stunning, and Vikki looked amazing in it. I always love to capture the emotion of the day, so that there is a story to tell. This is my style, along with getting a bit creative and documenting the details.

Birkenhead Town Hall has some beautiful backdrops for photographs. The staircases are majestic and the stain glass windows are stunning.
