Chester Zoo Weddings

If you are looking for a unique venue to get married, then why not consider Chester Zoo Weddings.  Chester Zoo is one of the UK’s largest zoos at 125 acres. Recently BBC One had a Drama called “Our Zoo”, which tells the story of the founding of Chester Zoo by the Mottershead family in the 1930s. Chester Zoo has all the novelty you need to entertain your guests. Can you imagine telling people that you got married at the Zoo. As part of your wedding package your guests can get a free pass to walk around the zoo after the ceremony. How amazing is that. The wedding ceremony and Reception takes place at Oakfield Manor in Chester Zoo. Oakfield Manor is a beautiful country house that has been at the Zoo since it opened. It is on the National Heritage list as a Grade II listed building. There are so many places to have your group and couple photographs taken at the Zoo. Surrounding the Manor is the Serene Roman gardens on one side and on the other side the colourful Chinese rock gardens. You could also do a shoot around the Zoo with the animals as your backdrop. This makes your photographs more fun and memorable. This wedding had a mixture of both.
