Forest Hills Wedding
Ayesha & Paul’s Forest Hills Outdoor Wedding.

This was the Forest Hills wedding of Ayesha and Paul. The unique point of this wedding was that the groom had done all the arrangements himself. Paul wanted to have the ceremony outside, on the hilltop. The Forest Hills Hotel can host ceremonies outside on the hilltop looking over the Mersey Estuary. The legal bit of the ceremony is done inside the hotel afterwards. Although this was a lovely idea, Paul was really taking a risk as the weather had been quite temperamental and we were really unsure until the last minute as to whether it would rain or not. As it happened it was a bit chilly, but the sun came out, and shone gloriously.

Wedding Theme
The colour yellow was the theme. Yellow Sunflower lapels, yellow converse, the bride wore yellow shoes, sunflower bouquet and a flower arch weaved with sunflowers was created by Acer florist for the ceremony. The bright yellow flowers looked amazing against the bright blue sky. Ayesha didn’t know she was going to be wed outside. Her smile was beaming when she stepped on the red carpet aisle and saw Paul standing under the Sunflower arch. It was such a delight to watch.

I especially enjoyed this wedding, and felt it was rather special. Paul and Ayesha had a beautiful energy together. I could feel the electric in the air. You could see the adrenalin and excitement on their faces. Paul looked so proud and Ayesha looked so pleased. It was lovely and I felt so privileged to be a part of that.

After the ceremony we took a short walk to the edge of Frodsham Hill where we could see the Mersey Estuary clearer.

To finish I took some photographs of the couple and a few group shots in the Forest Hills Reception area.
