Stunning Cheshire woodland Wedding

April & Luke

This was The Stunning Cheshire Woodland Wedding of April & Luke. What an amazing wedding day. We had glorious weather, the day ran smoothly and there was not a dull moment. Just lots of happy emotion and fun! The day reflected both Luke and April’s personality: light hearted, playful, charming, elegant and lots of fun!

Morning Preparations

The day started with April’s bridal preparations at a nearby hotel. The Hartford hall Hotel is just 5 minutes from the wedding venue. April’s bridal party were such a lovely bunch of people to be around. The morning was very relaxed with lots of laughter and excitement. A lovely surprise arrived for April from Luke, which brought about unexpected happy tears.

The ceremony

At The Cheshire woodland Weddings, the setting in the woodland was serene and beautiful. The ceremony taking place under a thatched hut with rustic seating for guests. The woodland area was playful, with picture frames, a love swing, fairy lights, and whimsical signs adding to the charm. The guests were greeted by falconers with their birds of prey, adding a very unique touch. The ceremony was beautiful, with stunning bridal party and touching speeches adding to the emotion. The ceremony ended with confetti throwing. Buckets full. That’s what make good confetti photos. If you think you have a lot of confetti….. get more!

Afternoon Fun

During the afternoon guests could enjoy outdoor activities such as Air rifle shooting, archery, axe throwing, and more, keeping everyone entertained. An acoustic singer Jordan Brown provided amazing background music, while guests mingled and had fun.

A wow factor to the day was the Bird of prey show. This involved audience participation. Amazing and amusing the guests. Great entertainment!

Wedding Breakfast

The wedding breakfast was held in a converted barn, with plenty of natural light streaming in. The minimal yet high-quality décor included modern rustic tables and a lovely lit-up love sign above the top table. Yellow Sunflowers on all tables giving a bit of colour. There wasn’t a theme as such, more the couples personalities injected into the look with lot’s of Pokémon scattered around.

The evening saw DJ Spin Sister and Sonic Boom keeping the party going on the dancefloor. It was truly a day to remember, and as a photographer, capturing these moments of love, joy, and celebration is what love doing the most.
