The Doubletree Hilton Chester Weddings

The Doubletree By Hilton Chester is a luxurious Cheshire wedding venue. It oozes elegance and stature. As you enter the grounds of this wedding venue, you are welcomed with by its splendour with a celebration water fountain spraying over an ornamental pond. Your eyes are then guided to the 18th Century Manor nestled behind, which is beautifully framed by trees . The Manor which was once called Hoole Hall is situated in the centre of the Hotel grounds. It is a beautiful building that is surrounded by 12 acres of landscaped gardens. Stretching out is the serene Victorian Walled Garden with lavender beds. Of an evening the sunsets over the fields behind creating a beautiful golden glow. This venue screams cosmopolitan and will certainly wow your guests!

Ceremony Suites and Hotel Grounds.

The DoubleTree by Hilton is situated just on the outskirts of Chester city centre. Just as your driving into Chester on Warrington road, this venue is slightly hidden. As you are driving past, you may get a sneak peak and just be like oooh What’s That? You get a view of the manor house with the wowing water feature inviting you to come in. From then you will be delighted by the grounds and interior. The DoubleTree by Hilton Chester have thought of everything. This is just the best place to get married.

Wedding Photography Portraits

After your wedding ceremony when your guests are mingling, I will take the Bride and Groom to have your Portraits done. This is a relaxed session with little posing. This is also a chance for you to be together as a married couple away from the crowds. Following this I will commence group photographs if they have been requested. I find keeping group shots to a minimum is best. This means less time in front of the camera and more time to enjoy your day. I will be taking natural photographs during this time and capturing some real emotions.

Outdoor Wedding Venues Cheshire

In addition to three ceremony rooms, The Doubletree Hilton Chester has the option to facilitate an outdoor ceremony. Getting married Al Fresco is a growing trend these days. Outdoor weddings are magical in essence. Being surrounded by a beautiful, natural backdrop. Outdoor ceremony’s at the DoubleTree Hilton take place under a wooden style Pagoda, which is eloquently situated next to the ornamental pond. Can you imagine on a summers day, the sounds of the fountain spray on the pond and a gentle breeze rustling the trees. Sounds Bliss doesn’t it!

The Abbey Suite

DoubleTree Hilton Chester Wedding Ceremony Suites.

Rustic, Romantic and Charming are three words I would use to describe this Hilton wedding suite. The Abbey Suite is a converted barn. It features original oak beams and bare brick. This old building is grand in height and in presence. There are beautiful arched windows running along one side of the building letting in beams of sunlight. The wall running parallel is large glass panels looking onto the Abbey Suite’s private gardens. Because there are Window’s on both sides the room is bathed in natural light. Being a big lover of any sort of lighting, what stands out for me are the antique wrought iron style candle chandeliers running along the ceiling.

The Abbey Suite looks amazing when decorated, and equally when kept at a minimal. If you are looking for a ceremony room that has a historic yet modern feel. This would be perfect. The Abbey Suite can cater for the ceremony, wedding breakfast and the evening celebrations. While room changes are being made guests are taken to a private bar area.

The Yerburgh Suite

The Yerburgh Suite is part of the 18th Century Manor. The building has large bay windows all around, looking onto the Victorian walled gardens and the pond. The room has lots of natural light and lovely views. Large stunning chandeliers hang from the ceilings which add to this room’s wow factor. The Yerburgh suite can be used for smaller more intimate ceremony’s. This room joins on to the Grade II English Heritage conservatory where guests can enjoy drinks and canapés inside or on the patio area.

The Yerburgh Suite is a statement room. I have used this room on rainy days as a backdrop to take the Bride and Groom Portraits.

The Ballroom

If you have a large wedding party The Ballroom would be the right room for you. Adjoined to the Conservatory, this modern room can cater for 350 guests for a reception, or 220 guests for a dinner and dance making it the largest room for hosting events. The Ballroom has a contemporary chequered dance floor and modern lighting. The Ballroom can be divided into 2 separate function rooms for smaller numbers. This space is used for the Ceremony, Wedding Breakfast and Evening Celebrations.

The Club and Spa Chester

Having lived only 10 minutes walk from The DoubleTree By Hilton, I often spoilt myself by visiting The Club & Spa at this Cheshire Hotel. I have to say that this is the best Spa that I have ever experienced. You are greeted by very welcoming staff who provide you with a robe and slippers, which is always a nice touch. When staying at a hotel I am happy if the on-site spa has a pool, sauna and Jacuzzi. This Spa has it all. You have a choice of a Sauna, Steam room and Turkish Hamman. Then you have the lap pool, poolside lounge area, a walk in hydro pool, a lie-down hydro pool, and an outside heated pool with waterfall which is great for a shoulder massage.

The Club & Spa is on three floors. One floor boasts a next generation gym, which is one of the best gyms in Chester. There are 14 Treatment Rooms offering a variety of therapy’s, a couples suite with a private sauna and whirlpool. At the end of your session you will be taken to The Dream Wave Room. This is a dim lit room with meditative sounds and a relaxing projections which will make you just drift away. If your looking at Spa hotels in Chester I recommend you try this one out.

Bedrooms & suites

The Doubletree by Hilton has 219 rooms in total. Family rooms, Suite’s, Single and Double rooms. All Rooms are spacious and have a Contemporary feel. The rooms are light and spacious, ideal for having your hair and make up done. The photographs below are taken in a bedroom suite at the hotel during Bridal Preparations. Have your wedding photographer start taking photographs from Bridal preparations. If you have opted for more natural style photography, then capturing the morning laughter and nerves really adds to the story.

Doubletree Hilton Chester Restaurants

This Cheshire Hotel has two restaurants. The Marco Pierre white Steak House Bar & Grill which serves a variety of dishes from the traditional Steakhouse menu and more to Afternoon Tea and cocktails.

The Garden room and Terrace restaurant is more of a informal place to relax drink and dine. With Contemporary chic design and views of the Walled gardens.
