Family Photography

This family photography shoot was taken at castle Park in Frodsham. I love doing these family shoots, especially when I’m photographing toddlers. There is lots of space for kids to run around in Castle Park and lovely spots to relax and take photographs. The park has over nine acres of land. This comprises of a woodland area, formal gardens and a play park. I love finding a clearing with lost of natural light and just enough shade to stop people squinting. At the top of the park near the lawns are some sculpted benches. They are positioned in the woodland facing the clearing. This was an ideal place to take these photographs. The benches themselves are weather worn. The texture of the wood adds an aesthetic feeling to the images, which enhances the naturalness.  The idea for this family photography shoot was to get some photographs of the baby, all the family together and some of just mum and dad. This family really bonded well, which made for great relaxed photographs.
