Heavenly Ride_ Photoshoot Runcorn
Heavenly Ride
The wind it blows through my hair, like angels breath so sweet,
the sunshine warms my very soul, my head down to my feet.
The engine roars its song on high, of strength and all things good,
the joy of riding beasts of steel, forever understood.

I Have always wanted to do a Photoshoot of a couple on a motorbike, so I was really looking forward to doing this Runcorn photoshoot. My husband is a big motorbike fan. He is a massive petrol head who has spent most of his life tinkering with spanners and bikes. I don’t know much about bikes myself but I love the way they look and sound. The highly polished chrome, the notion of freedom they project, and the sex appeal they ooze. This shoot was with a beautiful couple Anna and Billy. They got married last year and are celebrating their one year anniversary. Photographing a couple is not just about taking photographs of two people who are in love, but trying to portray their relashionship and personalities. Anna and Billy really complemented each other. At the start of the shoot I notice that Anna had a tough persona, however as the day unfolded Billy brought out the sensative side of Anna which was totally endearing. The shoot started under the local landmark that is the Runcorn Widnes Bridge, which is the 30th longest steel arch bridge in the world. I wanted a grungy looking background that had character, but at the same time wasn’t distracting. We took quite a few photographs of the couple on the bike, using the bike as a prop. I absolutly loved the outcome of these photographs and will be looking for more couples with motorbikes to be doing photoshoots of in the future.
