Emma and Steve’s Wedding

Imagine getting married outside in an Italian garden with statues of Lions, soldiers, Cupids, tortoises and a beautiful water fountain. Well this couple did. Emma and Stephen were married at The Queens Hotel in Chester. The Queens Hotel is worth a visit just to see all of its interesting and quirky features. This wedding was as superb as it was emotionally packed, which always makes a wedding more memorable. Emma and Stephen are a lovely couple who really are made for each other, and I thoroughly enjoyed photographing their wedding. The day started with Bridal preparations with make-up and hair . Emma chose a reef to go in her hair. I love these. I wish that I had an excuse to wear one . They should design them for everyday wear. Anyway the suites at the Queens hotel were spacious and light. This is ideal when having your make-up and hair done. When Emma was ready she had the pleasure of walking down the three tiers of staircase, which I think adds to the emotional build up and is preparation for the grand entrance. The ceremony took place outside in the Italian garden. The weather was perfect for it. We took the opportunity to photograph the Bride and Groom in as many areas of the hotel with its amazing backgrounds. We wanted the couple to have original images that no other couple would have. We started the couple shoot next to the red telephone box in the hall way. We tryed to put a bit of humour into the photographs to show the couples outgoing personality. Other photographs were taken in front of the golden doors, both of the beautiful staircases and the pagoda lit up at night.
