Trafford Hall Wedding

Trafford Hall is a grade 2 listed Georgian Manor house based in 14 acres of beautifully kept gardens. Surrounded by Cheshire countryside, this is a hidden Gem. This is a great place to get married or have your reception. From the moment you enter the tree lined drive leading up to the manor you are charmed by the serenely natural environment.

As I approached The Georgian Manor I couldn’t wait to explore the grounds and the Manor itself. This was the wedding of a lovely couple from Frodsham. They both met through their love of Tennis and included this as part of their wedding theme.

As I enter Trafford hall I am greeted warmly by the extremely helpful staff. I decide to wander and get a glimpse of the décor and personal touches before I start to take Sarah’s bridal preparation photographs. The rooms have been dressed with a vintage feel to them, which fits so well with the manor itself. I especially loved the teacups and saucers on each table that were filled with flowers and placed on pink polka dot doily’s. Very retro!

I head up to the room upstairs where the Bride is getting ready.

I like to get a few shots of the Bride with her parents before the ceremony.

The ceremony

The light in the ceremony room was lovely and soft, with the light being difused by the voile curtains. The doors on the side of the room opened up to the gardens. This is such a nice feature as the guests can make their way outside straight after the wedding ceremony.

The confetti shot went really well. The bride has supplied two baskets full of confetti, so that there was plenty to go around. This is a great idea as lots of people forget the confetti.

We headed off into the gardens to take the group photographs. Trafford Hall has gardens and woodlands, which are great for backdrops in wedding photography.

Trafford Hall has Chalets where your guests can stay.

The following photographs where taken in the woodlands. The have a small hut and a place where they build a bonfire. This is a really nice touch if your guests are staying for the night.
