Michelle & Richards Colourful, Vibrant, Cheshire Woodland Wedding. This wedding was planned and detailed to show the personalities of Richard and Michelle. They had lots of unique and amazing ideas. Lets start with the Wedding Dress. What a wow! statement. A purple bodice and a sparkly Teal skirt. Designed and made by Samm Buca at Pink butterfly Brides in Bridgend. Chell gave Samm her ideas and choices and Samm came up with this wonderful design. A unique and original wedding dress. This wedding was full of vibrant colours from the dress, flowers, to the cake and how the breakfast room was dressed.

The Ceremony

Cheshire Woodland weddings is an outside wedding venue in Northwich Cheshire. Chell and Richard chose to have a celebrant Katie McCall do the whole of the ceremony, giving it a more personal touch, telling their stories and how they met. Her sons were the flower men, doing a little dance to start the procession, followed by the bridesmaids blowing bubbles. Rings were delivered to them by Jess the Owl ring bearer. This is always a wow moment that guests will always remember. The exchange of rings was followed by a hand fasting ceremony. All their friends were involved which made it all more meaningful. The ceremony ended with a jumping the broom custom, which is a Celtic and Welsh custom. where a newlywed couple leaps over a decorated broom, signifying a new beginning, sweeping away the past.

The Afternoon was full of activities, Archery, Rifle shooting, Axe throwing and sedge ways. Following this was an amazing Bird of prey show.

The day was full of entertainment and yet so chilled out. Lawn games carried on into the evening. Guests relaxed in the sunshine and children played on the lawn. Hog roast was served for the wedding breakfast, dancing started early evening along with toasting marshmallows and other shenanigans. This was definitely a wedding that guests will not forget.
