Grosvenor Pulford weddings

This Photograph was taken at the stunning Chester wedding venue,  The Grosvenor Pulford Hotel and Spa. This is one of Cheshire’s top wedding venues. This hotel has so much to offer. The inside and the grounds have so many photographic backgrounds. This modern Hotel oozes sophistication. As a photographer There is so many areas that I can use for taking wedding photographs no matter what the weather. One of the most asked for pictures by the bride and groom is a photograph of them next to the grand mirror. This area is in between Ciro’s restaurant and the Kasia Spa. The lighting here is quite dark, but this is what makes it so atmospheric. I use strobe lights to add a little light to the couples faces and wedding dress. The photograph below is of a Bride looking into the mirror, so that her back is facing the viewer. This allows us to see her face in the mirror and her stunning wedding gown from behind. This is a great shot if you want to capture the detail in the back of the dress. I have directed a softer light onto her face to give a demure look. I have directed a harder light onto her dress. As the room is quite dark the harder light will be quite contrasty and show up the shape and detail in the dress.
