HILTON DOUBLETREE CHESTER WEDDING

I am a wedding photographer based in Chester in Cheshire. This wedding was held at the Hilton Doubletree Chester. I live about ten minutes away from this hotel.  I have used the spa there at this Hotel which is amazing. I totally recommend the spa and the Marco Pierre White restaurant. The Hilton Doubletree Chester has the wow factor.  As soon as you arrive at the drive,  you enter the gates and are presented with a spouting fountain that sprays water dramatically up into the air. Through the fountains spray you can see the hotel in the background.

The bridal preparations started at Boots pharmacy in Chester city center. There are beauty counters there that do bridal makeup.

The bride has six bridesmaids all looking pretty in pink. This photograph was taken in the brides back garden.

This photograph is of the groom, bestman and Ushers waiting at the church.

No photography was allowed during the ceremony.

I love photographing confetti shots. The more confetti the better the photograph. Creating a good confetti shot depends on many factors. The main contribution to create a good confetti photograph is having good weather with no wind. It helps if everyone throws the confetti together above the couple and not throwing the confetti directly in to the bride and grooms face.

I started with the newly weds photographs first and then continued with the group shots. This photograph was taken of the bride and groom on the jetty.  The water fountain creates a beautiful spray behind the couple.

The Hilton Doubletree Chester has some beautiful trees on its land. The tree that I photographed the couple next to was lush with green foilage. The trees branches draped down and swayed softly with the gentle breeze. This made the photograph look very romantic.

There is a summer house next to the pond. I photographed all of the group shots there.

The Wedding breakfast was held in the Stables room. This room had old brick and beams of naturals light coming through the windows.

The evening reception was held in the Ballroom, which has a conservatory on the front and a large room at the back.
