Liverpool Pre Wedding Shoot
It was a blustery, cold day that Anthony and Clare had booked for their Liverpool pre-wedding photo shoot. We started late afternoon in the centre of Liverpool just off Bold Street. Most couples are nervous in front of the camera, so with that in mind we headed to a quiet back street away from the crowds. Liverpool is full of vibrancy and creative flare, so it wasn’t long before we found some good backdrops.

This street art of John Lennon was on Cropper Street. We could see this from the story car park and thought it was a good place to start. Just around the corner we found more vibrant street art, and we just couldn’t resist having it as a backdrop in our photographs. The street art in the photograph below was by artist Haka Graffiti and its located on La Parilla restaurant on Bold Street.

We next headed in the direction of Clare and Anthony’s wedding venue the Athenaeum, down School Lane which is where the Bluecoat is situated. You could just see the top of the Liverbird Building in the distance. I really wanted to include this in the photographs.

At this point the sun was lowering and we had less natural light, so we headed towards St Georges Hall were we thought would take us out of the hustle and bustle of the city centre. We were mistaken and just caught crowds exiting st Georges Hall from a beer festival. The couple were really good sports and still carried on even though we had less available light, blustery cold wind and people shouting “Do you want to photograph me”
