Hayley and Chris’s wedding

Wedding Photography Forest Hills Hotel

The wedding of Chris and Hayley took place in Saint John’s the Evangelist Sandiway. This is a lovely little church in Northwich with lots of character. The Vicar Revd Dr John Hughes was very welcoming and conducted a beautiful ceremony.  The day started at Matrix Hair Salon in Weaverham. There was a very relaxed atmosphere with a pinch of excitement in the air, a bit like Christmas morning. I loved what they did with Hayley’s hair. The style was very pretty and really suited her. The Wedding Reception was at The forest Hills hotel in Frodsham. This is a great venue to have your wedding reception.  The selling point is the view. If you like a beautiful backdrop this panorama is stunning. You have beautiful surroundings and a great view of Cheshire. The Hotel is lovely and the staff really take care of you.  I asked Hayley and Chris some questions to sum up their relationship, how they met and about the wedding day itself. Its very romantic. a lovely love story.

Me: How did you both meet?

Hayley: We met at uni, the first time we met was at a pub called the mackintosh in
Cardiff, but we didn’t become a couple for another year after that. I lived
in a shared house with 3 others and a room became available and Chris was
friends with one of my house mates (Pete who was our best man), and he
offered him the room. We became close during dissertation time when we
would stay up all night keeping each other company and keeping each other
going when we were trying to write our dissertations.

Chris says that he knew he wanted to be with me the first time he saw me,
and can always remember what I was wearing that day. I don’t know why I
fell for Chris or when really but I knew straight away that there was a
special connection between us that I had never felt before,

Me: How did Chris propose?

Hayley: 2 days before Christmas Chris took me to the winter wonderland in Cardiff.
But there had been really heavy rain and strong winds that day so it was
closed. He then took me to Cardiff bay where we live and we went for a walk
by the Mariana. As we were walking across the marina bridge it was raining
and Chris got down on one knee and proposed then. 23rd December 2013

Me: Why did you choose the Forest Hills Hotel as your wedding venue?

Hayley: I had been to a wedding at forest hills before. We loved the Overton suite
and the view, and I think that’s what did it for us. It also catered for
all our family and friends who were travelling a long way as it has plenty
of hotel rooms.

Me: Who did your wedding dress, car and flowers?
Hayley:

My dress was a Sophia toll I dress bought from the bridal centre Cardiff.

The flowers were done by a family friend, Heather Gorringe,

The Great British florist.

The cars were signature cares.

Me: What was the stand out moment of your wedding day?

Hayley: It’s hard to choose a moment. I was on cloud 9 all day. Standing there in
the church where I was confirmed with Chris taking our vows was surreal.
Chris also feels the church service and the actual getting married was the
best moment,

Chris speech was incredible, he put so much time and effort and spoke from
his heart. It was perfect.
