The West Tower Exclusive Use wedding venue is situated in Ormskirk, Lancashire, and not far from Liverpool. The venue is exclusive wedding use only, so only caters for weddings and no other events. This is a real advantage as not only is the venue nearly always set up to view for weddings, this also means that only one wedding can take place at your venue. Whereas in some hotels or other venues they allow two or even three weddings to take place on the same day. So opting for this an Exclusive Use Wedding venue means that you won’t be bumping into another bride on your wedding day.
The West Tower was originally built as a home in 1885, and still has most of its original features. This has got to be one of my favourite wedding venues yet. The house itself is a perfect picture, and the grounds surrounding the venue are stunning. There is a terrace at the side of the house, which leads out onto a manicured lawn, which is perfect for drinks, canapés and games .This area also has a pagoda which is used for outdoor ceremonies for an alfresco wedding. The lawn leads out onto fields, so your view is of endless countryside.
Sunny Evenings at the West Tower
On a sunny evening at the West Tower, evening drinks can be enjoyed, along with outside dancing. The sunsets over the fields which provides a beautifully romantic backdrop.
West Tower Bridal Preparations part 1
The West Tower has the Cristal suite for the bridal preparations part 1. This is where make up and hair can be done. The room has a kitchen, living area and a salon type area, with lots of mirrors and natural light. This is ideal for the bride and her girls.
West Tower Bridal Preparations part 2
After hair and make up the bride and bridesmaids are taken to the Bridal suite, where they get into their wedding attire. This room is part of the main house. The room has lots of natural light and stunning chandeliers.
Wedding breakfast at West Tower
The wedding ceremony, wedding breakfast and the Evening reception can al take place in the Ballroom. This crisp clean, modern and very classic room has floor to ceiling windows looking over the Lancashire countryside. You can personalise you wedding with your choice of flowers and decorations. You don’t really have to do much as the room looks so beautiful as it is.
Accommodation at The West Tower
There is plenty of accommodation for you and your guests. The venue has rooms in the main house, The Stables, The Coach house and it also has two cottages on site. Breakfast for your guests will be served in the cellar Bar in the main house.
